Many projects are started and with all good intentions, eventually get "Put on the back burner". One look inside a typical enthusiasts garage or basement and you will see what I am talking about ;-) However, if you look inside Jamie McPherson's garage in Bonny Scotland, you will find one less project laying around which is now in the form of one awesome looking B3! Jamie decided to tackle his 1991,16V project at all angles. From paint to custom body work to a slick looking interior, it was one massive effort to get it looking and running exactly how he wanted it. With body lines of this vintage, it's important to keep the modifications subtle and true to the original design, Jamie does just that with a true German flare. To get the B3 in it's current state was no easy task. He not only wanted the Passat to look good but most importantly, he wanted it to perform well. Part of this was completing the necessary mechanical repairs to this now, 15 year old vehicle. This is the part that most "new" Passat owners seem to try and "skip over" which ultimately leads to disappointment down the road.
